Azonyx
Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 October 2026
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information, phone numbers, and messaging consent data will not be shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Azonyx provides software that answers calls, texts and messages for home-services businesses. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what we will never do with it.
1. Two different roles
Azonyx handles personal information in two distinct situations, and the rules differ.
Information we hold about our own customers and enquirers. If you contact us through this website or become an Azonyx customer, we decide how your information is used, and this policy governs it.
Information we process for a business that uses Azonyx. When a plumber, electrician or other business uses our software, their customers' calls and messages pass through our systems. We handle that information on that business's instructions, as their service provider. The business decides what happens to it, and their own privacy policy governs it. If you are a customer of one of those businesses and want your information removed, contact the business directly — or contact us and we will pass the request to them.
2. What we collect
When you enquire through this website
Your name, your business name, your phone number, your email address, and whatever you type in the message box. That is all. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
When a business uses Azonyx
On that business's behalf, our systems hold:
- Names, phone numbers and email addresses of people who contact them
- The content of text messages and direct messages, in both directions
- Call records: time, duration, outcome, and where a call was handled by our voice assistant, a recording and a transcript
- Appointment details, including the service requested and any notes
- Quote and invoice amounts, and whether they were paid
- Review responses, including private feedback a customer sends to the business rather than posting publicly
- Whether someone has opted out of text messages
3. What we use it for
We use information to run the service and nothing else:
- Replying to a missed call, a text or a message
- Booking appointments and sending confirmations and reminders
- Asking how a completed job went
- Showing a business what happened on their account
- Billing our own customers, and supporting them when something goes wrong
- Keeping records of consent and opt-outs, which we are required to hold
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. We do not use one business's customer information to benefit another business.
4. Text messages and consent
Text messages are sent only to people who have contacted the business first — by calling it, texting it, or booking an appointment with it. There is no subscriber list, no purchased or rented data, and no bulk sending. Every message relates to that person's own call, appointment or completed job.
The first message in any conversation identifies the business by name and includes “Reply STOP to opt out”. Replying STOP stops messages immediately and permanently; that number is not messaged again. Replying HELP returns contact information. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with your own activity.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information, phone numbers, and messaging consent data will not be shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Phone numbers and consent records are shared only with the communications providers that carry the messages, and only so the message can be delivered. They are not shared for those providers' own marketing, and they are never sold.
5. Recorded calls
Where a business has our voice assistant answering their phone, calls may be recorded and transcribed so that the business has a record of what was agreed and so the assistant can be corrected when it gets something wrong. Callers are told at the start of the call. Recordings and transcripts belong to the business whose phone was called, and are available to that business and to Azonyx staff supporting them.
6. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run Azonyx. They may handle personal information only to provide their service to us, and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Twilio
- Carries calls and text messages
- Retell AI
- Powers the voice assistant that answers calls
- Anthropic
- Generates message drafts and summaries
- Supabase
- Hosts the database
- Stripe
- Processes payments, where invoicing is used
Beyond those providers, we share personal information only where the law requires it — a valid legal request, or to protect someone's safety. If Azonyx is ever sold or merged, information may transfer with the business; the commitment stated above travels with it.
7. How long we keep it
While a business is an Azonyx customer, their records are kept so the service works and so they have their own history. When a business leaves, their records are retained rather than deleted, so that consent and opt-out history remains provable and so they can be restored if they return. A business may ask us to delete their data, and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of opt-outs — that record exists to protect the people who asked not to be contacted.
Website enquiries are kept until we have dealt with them and for a reasonable period afterwards.
8. Your choices
- Stop text messages. Reply STOP to any message. This works immediately and needs no request to us.
- See what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us and we will do it. If the information belongs to a business using Azonyx, we will pass the request to them, since it is theirs to decide.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state or national law. Ask us and we will tell you what applies and act on it.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these.
9. Security
Access to data is restricted by account, so one business cannot see another's. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise; if a breach affects you, we will tell you.
10. Children
Azonyx is a tool for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, tell us and we will remove it.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will tell our customers directly rather than relying on you to notice.
12. Contact
